Who are we?
Connect (formerly the Devon and Cornwall Counselling Hub) is a specialist counselling training organisation.
All of our CPCAB-approved courses are designed and delivered by our team of qualified and practising therapists who understand what is involved in working as an effective & successful counsellor. Our wealth of skill & experience informs the teaching at all levels of training.
We are passionate about counselling and the counselling profession. For us, counselling and teaching is far more than a job, it is a way of life.
Our courses teach practical and useful skills and techniques designed to help you work effectively with a wide range of clients.
In 2021 The Devon and Cornwall Counselling Hub (DCCH) brand was replaced by Connect and was integrated into the Astranti Group.
Where DCCH became an established name in counselling training circles in the South West of England, the rebrand to Connect came with an overall shift in focus to making our quality counselling training accessible to even more trainee counsellors, both in the South West and beyond.
Part of our focus, which was also fast-tracked by the pandemic, is to make more counselling courses online friendly. And although we recognise that not all counselling training can be (or likely ever will be) converted to an online platform, much of the learning and exercises involved can be done remotely, which opens the world of quality counselling training to even more people from even more walks of life.

When do our courses run?
Our online application forms show the options available when beginning a course. Our schedule generally follows the academic year, starting in September and ending in July.

The Astranti Group has been helping people to get their professional qualifications for over 20 years and started life by providing CIMA courses (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants). In recent years, however, the Astranti Group has expanded and has been supporting people with CMI courses (Chartered Management Institute), Excel courses and a wide range of management and leadership-focused CPD courses too.
Astranti is also proud to be one of a select number of tuition providers who have joined forces with the CIMA for their new CIMA FLP provision (Finance Leadership Program), introduced to the UK in 2022, as one of only two authorised resellers.
